In this article, I am going to explain How to Create an e commerce website with WordPress WooCommerce.

If you have some product range and you want to sell them online then it is not a big deal to create an e-commerce to sell your products.Open source CMS like WordPress and Joomla offers great functionality to create full fledged website in no time.
Similarly several plugins are available to turn any wordpress site in to e-commerce website.

If you have limited knowledge or have no knowledge about website development, still you can create amazing website using open source CMS.
In this article I am going to explain how you can turn any wordpress site into e-commerce website.
Before moving forward you need to learn how to install wordpress first, you can follow Install WordPress on Cpanel my article to learn the process.

Create an e commerce website with WordPress WooCommerce.

Let’s assume you have wordpress website ready, now let’s move forward to convert your site into an e-commerce website.

  1. From left sidebar Plugins menu, click Add  New link to Install new Plugin.
  2. On plugin page, search woocommerce, this will show you wocommerce plugin.
  3. Select the woocommerce plugin by Automatic and click Install.

  4. After installation, activate the plugin by clicking Activate button on same page.
  5. After plugin activation  you need to run the setup wizard to enter information of your newly created shop.
  6. Follow the setup steps to complete the e-commerce setup.
  7. After setup, its time to add some products to your newly created store, from left sidebar under woocommerce, select Add  New Products option to add new product.
  8. Enter necessary detail of product and press save button.
  9. Congratulations!!! You have created your new e-commerce site and published your first product.
  10. That’s all the steps to create e-commerce website with WordPress and WooCommerce.
