You can create free email on any email service provider like gmail, yahoo, hotmail etc. but a customised email of your domain gives a professional look to your business.
Let’s assume you have an email on gmail with your business name like businessname@gmail.com, now consider scenario, if any of your client missed a single word from it, you will never receive the mail from that client.
Now lets move to the second scenario where you have email with your domain name like info@businessname.com, this will promote your business also gives a professional look to your email and also you can configure your email to receive all email whether email exist or not on the domain.
If you have purchased hosting, you don’t have to spent a single penny for creating a customised and cool email address.
Lets start the process to set your customised email address.
Create / Access Webmail Email in cPanel
- Login to your cPanel Dashboard.
- Navigate to Email Section of cPanel
- Click on Email Accounts link, this will redirect you to Email Accounts detail page.
- Now to Create Webmail Email, fill email details.
- In Email Textbox, type email id on which you want to receive the email.
- In some cases, it asks for domain, if you have more than one domain hosted on hosting, select the domain for which you want the email.
- Fill the Password and Password Again textbox.
- Now select the storage amount for your email, If you are planning to use your custom email for long period, then I recommend you to select the Unlimited option for Mailbox Quota.
- Now click on Create Account button to create your first customised webmail email.
- And if everything went well, it will notify you with a success message.

Access Webmail in cPanel
You can access your webmail email either by using cPanel or by accessing mailbox through URL.
- To access email inbox by cPanel, you will find your newly created email on Email Accounts Section of same page.
- In front of email a dropdown haivng option Access Webmail will appear.
- Selecting that option will redirect you to your email inbox without asking for any password.
- To access email inbox by url, type your domain name followed by webmail, i.e yourdomainname.com/webmail.
- When you type the above url it will redirect you to webmail login page and ask for password.
- Typing the correct password will redirect you to your inbox.
