Let’s start the process to
Add / Install & Activate New WordPress Plugin:-
Step 1. Login to your wordpress site using wordpress login panel.
Step 2. After successful login, you will be redirected to wordpress Dashboard Page.
Step 3. On dashboard page, you will see a Sidebar menu having link with text Plugin.
Step 4. Click on Plugin Link, it will redirect you to Plugin Page.
Step 5. On top left corner of Plugin Page, you will see a button with text Add New.
Step 6. Click on Add New button to add new wordpress plugin.
Step 7. Clicking on Add New button will redirect you to WordPress Plugin Directory page, there you will see list of wordpress plugins.
Step 8. To search for new plugin, start typing in Search Plugins textbox; it will automatically list plugins, having similar names you have typed in textbox.
Step 9. To install any plugin, you have to click Install Now button in front of that plugin name.
Step 10. Once you click on Install Now button it will install the selected plugin in your wordpress site.
Now we’ve completed the process of plugin installation, but this doesn’t mean we are ready to use the plugin.
To use the plugin in your wordpress site, you have to activate the plugin.
Step 10. You will see Install Now button text has been changed to Activate.
Step 12. To activate the plugin, simply click on Activate button and clicking on button will activate the plugin and will redirect you to your plugin list page and show you message “Plugin Activated”.
